EDUCATION PACKAGES AND PRICES

Here at Backyard Bees Ltd., we provide a range of environmental education workshops suitable for your age and ability of class. All sessions are interactive and based on the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence, learning about honeybees and the bee hive and for the younger age groups will include bee related arts and crafts. We also provide worksheets for all sessions.

Advised group size: maximum 25 pupils.

Advised session length: 1-1.5 hours per class, although this is dependent on ages and abilities. For the younger years (preschool-P1), it is advised to provide a shorter educational session and spend a longer length of time interacting through dance and crafts.

Prices inclusive of educational material and crafts where relevant.

Mileage is charged at 40p/mile and visits are made within a 30-mile radius of Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

SCHOOL OUTREACH PRICES

Morning session 9am-12noon: £200

Full day 9-4pm: £350

INDIVIDUAL HOURS

First hour: £100

Additional hours: £60
