Backyard Bees Limited is an environmental education based company, highlighting the amazing world of the honey bee!

As a social enterprise, we hope to positively influence and educate the local communities of Lanarkshire. Founded by a passionate beekeeper with a life long career based in environmental education, Backyard Bees Limited was born!

We offer honey bee workshops to all ages and abilities, involving education, arts and crafts!

We have teamed up with various local community groups, including Larkhall Community Growers and The Children's Charity Blameless. We offer various partnerships, from businesses hosting bee hives on their site to arranging various bee-themed workshops to suit your needs.

Alongside the educational aspect, we also attend various shows and events, with our local honey for sale and all things bees! We hand make various gift sets, honey bee adoption packs, jewellery, beeswax candles and other small gifts. Our most popular product (after the honey!) is our handmade beeswax lip balms, currently in 4 flavours.

All our hives are aptly names, usually around musical artists, including the Jackson Hive and the Bee Gees! The honey from the various hives is all individually labelled according to the named hive.
